Starbucks in Delhi
As you all know that Starbucks is major coffee brand in many foreign countries. It has come all over to India to find a new market. It's outlet in Delhi was launched a few days back and we can already see such a big queue outside the coffee shop.
Today i visited this huge place filled with aroma of coffee! We were waiting in a line and they served us with some pink colored cool drink. It wasn't good but how does that matter if it is free! hee-hee
Well coming to the coffee,it was Mind blowing! The service was also excellent, waiters asking your bill patiently with a smile. On the whole I love the all new experience -Interiors were so Indian-ised(is it a word -I really don't know). Loved it!
Let me give you a sneek peak :
Tata Starbucks Ltd. is a 50:50 joint venture company, owned by Starbucks Corporation and Tata Global Beverages, that owns and operates Starbucks outlets in India. The outlets are branded Starbucks Coffee "A Tata Alliance". Starbucks, through an agreement with Tata Coffee, serves coffee that is 100% locally sourced and roasted.
Starbucks had that Indian feel to it as it has been all decorated by Indian designers and craftsmen.
Its was written that it is made by the local craftsmen.
This was JAVA CHIP AND MOCHA in TALL Size (Their Smallest size) and it was priced at Rs. 140/- each which was fair and it tasted very good. Also, the name on the coffee gave a personalized touch.
TANDOORI PANEER ROLL which was priced at around Rs. 140/- and was very tasty prepared in Multigrain bread.
